The main occupation of the rural people is cultivation. Some people have land of their own. The landless people work as agricultural laborers. Some other people belong to the artisan class.
They are the potters, blacksmiths, goldsmiths, carpenters, and weavers. Due to the spread of education. Some educated people come out of villages and work as government servants.
