The very day of the election reflects the feelings of joy and jovial happiness among the voters to cast their votes in support of their candidates.

At 7 a.m. with the start of the poll, long lines are seen in front of the polling booths. Since people get the opportunity of expressing their anger or approval against or in support of their candidates.

Once the polling booths see endless lines of voters, supporters and polling agents of respective parties gear up to bring more and more voters to the booth to ensure the win of their candidates. The police employees keep a strict eye on the disturbing elements trying to disrupt the polls.

Last year an election was held in our village/town. The election went on quite peacefully. But some supporters of different parties were found shouting and manipulating voters. Barring a few incidents of stone-pelting , the election came to an end.

Then the counting of votes began with the supporters of the contesting candidates getting crowded near the booths. When the counting was over, the candidate of the ruling party was declared winner.

The winning candidate with his supporters made a huge rally bursting crackers. The supporters of the lost contestant candidate created violence like stone-pelting, terrorizing election employees and bombing.

With the evening approaching everything became normal. The police patrolled the village/town throughout the night to ensure peace and happiness to the residents.
