Everybody should have ambition in his/her life. He should proceed on with a specific goal in life. It is said that life without an aim is like a car without a brake. A person should act according to his plan so that he may fulfill his/her ambition. Everybody should realize the need for ambition in life.
My ambition in life is to become an ideal teacher. Teaching is a noble profession. My grandfather was a successful teacher. I have been impressed by his idealism as a teacher.
It is said that "the future of the country lies in its classrooms". In other words, it means that students are the future citizens of the country. If they are taught well, they can bring prosperity to the nation.
The teacher is like a lamp that removes darkness in the minds of his students. A teacher's workshop is his/her school and his/her products are the nation-builders. Since long teachers have been respected and considered to be noble persons all over the world.
But now-a-days the respect and honour of the teaching community is deteriorating due to some immoral activities of some dishonest teachers.
To check the deterioration advanced learners should come forward to become ideal teachers. They should not run after being doctors, engineers, etc. So I have decided to become a teacher.
To be a teacher one should learn more and more. He should also know about all the activities that an ideal teacher should have. I am preparing myself accordingly.
I am studying hard and trying to acquire a lot of knowledge in all my school subjects. Every day I come in touch with some ideal teachers of our school.
I am carefully watching all their activities and trying to do the same in my personal life. I also take care to follow the footsteps of our great gurus who know from the history and holy books.
I hope that this profession would give me personal satisfaction. I always pray God to bless me and guide me in the right way so that I can fulfill my ambition in life.

every student should have an ambition, a goal to focus their study and drive them to Succeed. I have mine. I would very much like to become a doctor.
I have always held doctors in high esteem. I consider their profession noble. They are involved in the enviable job of caring for the sick and the elderly. I witnessed much of this when grandfather fell victim to cancer two your ago.
I was with my grandfather during the last month of his, sickness. He was in constant pain, relieved only by the injections his doctor gave him. The doctor was extremely caring. He tried his best to make my grandfather comfortable speaking words of encouragement all the time.
My grandfather was aware that he would not live long as his cancer was incurable, but he was grateful for those kind words. I watched as the doctor tended to my grandfather and I wished to be like him. While I was helpless, the doctor could at least ease my grandfather’s suffering and keep him alive as long as he could.
Since then I have also developed a passion for helping cancer patients. I want to relieve their pain and even cure them. to do that, I would have to be a cancer specialist.
To become a doctor, let alone a cancer specialist demands a lot of determination and years of study. But I will not waver. The suffering of my grandfather is still fresh in my mind.
Every day also I read in the newspapers and watch on television how people afflicted with the disease die for lack of medical care. Knowing this, I am further driven to realize my ambition.
Once I become a doctor, I intend to work in a hospital for some time. That would give me an opportunity to work with senior doctors and learn from their wide experience and Knowledge.
I also want to do research and contribute toward finding an effective treatment for cancer. The medical profession I believe will be challenging and interesting for me.
